We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded the Business Improvement Group’s Best Colbea Client trophy at the Colbea Business Awards at Firstsite, Colchester, Essex.
This comes just weeks after our owner Sally Anderson-Wai shortlisted in the UK Trust Awards as a finalist in the Most Trusted UK Business Leader Award and WRITE WAI PR & COPYWRITING SERVICES was a finalist in the Most Trusted UK Media Company Award. In May 2015, we won a Star Award from Lift Effects.
Who would have thought just two years ago when Sally started WRITE WAI PR & COPYWRITING SERVICES in Colchester, Essex, that it would be an international award-winning success. We couldn’t have got here without the support of family, friends, clients, business coach David Betts and our business network contacts (you know who you are), so thank you.
We must also thank Colbea and Eastern Enterprise Hub business for their great Business courses, advice and support.
‘Having been a journalist for 20 years, I knew all about writing and how to gain publicity, but being in business was a complete new entity to me when I started up,’ said Sally. ‘At first I was overwhelmed by everything that I had to do and think about, but I attended lots of courses, seminar, workshops and networks to learn as much as I could. I studied the equivalent of an NVQ in Sales, Marketing and Social Media (and continue to learn when I can) so that WRITE WAI can offer the best service possible to our clients.’
WRITE WAI has gained publicity, new leads and greater sales for clients across the UK, in Europe, the USA, China, Thailand and Ireland. Clients commission press releases, blogs, website copy, social media management, editing and proofreading, knowing they will be written in an effective and creative way to attract their ideal audience and help them to reach their targets. WRITE WAI’s clients tell us they have won new sales through our work.
It doesn’t stop there. Sally said: ‘I try to encourage other business owners, recommend contacts and run a journalism competition with Tutor Doctor Colchester North which is supported by the Gazette Colchester and Dream 100 (details about the 2015 competition are in an earlier blog in June 2015). This is to encourage good standards of English and to open the door for young people who are aiming to have a career in the media.’
We aim to be the best we can be and do our best for all our clients. See what they say on WRITE WAI’s testimonials page on the website. http://www.writewai.com/testimonials/
