Great news! Write Wai PR & Copywriting Services’ ‘Get Healthy Writing Competition, 2016,’ being jointly run with Lyndee Oscar of Kids Backs 4 The Future, has got the approval of the Gazette Colchester, who are supporting it.

We planned the competition not realising that there had been a change in management, but the new Head of Content has given the go-ahead today!

If you have an 11 to 16-year-old please encourage them to enter as there are some great prizes up for grabs and it is a great way to start a career in the media.

This year, we are asking entrants to write 300 to 400 words about a health issue (which we hope will help them think of adopting healthier lifestyles themselves).

Write Wai PR & Copywriting Services and Kids Backs 4 The Future CIC are donating a Fitbit gadget to the winner and £50 in Amazon vouchers to their school, an ergonomic backpack worth £50 for second prize and £20 of Amazon vouchers for third prize.

The three winners will tour of the Gazette newsroom, sit in a news conference and their winning entries will be printed in the Gazette. We will invite a VIP to present the prizes along with myself and Lyndee Oscar.

The deadline for November 28th, so get writing.
